Moviegoers the world-over rejoice, in less than two months since Wonder Woman was released to raging critical and commercial success and promptly placing the DCEU back on track, Warner Bros. has shared some great news.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gal Gadot will return as the titular heroine and although director Patty Jenkins still isn't officially at the helm of the sequel, (yet), the Wonder Woman sequel is slated for an official release date of December 13, 2019 (wait, isn't that Star Wars season??)

DCEU entries Also slated for 2019 releases are The Batman and Shazam, barring any changes to the ever volatile DCEU, thats already an impressive and exciting line-up.

Other stand-alone DC titles that Warner Bros. currently has in the works include a stand-alone Cyborg movie, FlashpointAquaman, Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City SirensBatgirl, Shazam, Green Lantern Corps and The Batman. Before Wonder Woman’s sequel is released, the heroine will appear alongside Batman, the Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and Superman (probably) in Justice League.
